Call it a feature, or call it a bug fix (I’m on the fence personally), but Mailmanagr can now post e-mail messages as multiple users in Basecamp. Here’s how it works:
In your authorized senders list, you can now enter Basecamp authorization tokens on an address-by-address basis:
Or you can update your current addresses to use different [...]

For the most part, things have gone seamlessly with the transition to 37signals central account system. Most people haven’t had to do a thing with their Mailmanagr account.
If you are experiencing trouble (messages not getting posted) after setting up your 37signals ID, please log in to the web interface for Mailmanagr and update your Basecamp [...]

Somehow we had found our way onto Spamhaus’ PBL, so some of out outgoing mail was getting blacklisted by certain mail servers. The PBL isn’t a list of spammers, but rather, it’s a list of IP addresses that may not be actual, static mail servers. For example, your ISP would likely add the IP ranges [...]

It’s a little tweak, but something that will prove useful for folks having trouble getting their HTML messages to turn out the way they want:
You can now force the plain text version of a message, on an address by address basis. We built in a tweak a while ago allowing you to use “Ptext:” in [...]

A new feature went live today: the ability to create wide-open addresses in Mailmanagr. These addresses will bypass the “authorized senders” list on the account, and will let anyone send a message into Basecamp using that address.

Mailmanagr can handle zip files in a couple of ways. Occasionally, you may want to just upload a .zip file to share in Basecamp. That’s fine, attach it to your message and it will be uploaded to Basecamp as is.
What we’re announcing today, though, is if you attach a .zip file, but you [...]

HTML formatting is a bit of a work in progress, and probably always will be. What we’re really trying to say here is that e-mail clients are the nastiest offenders of markup-abuse on the market. We do our best with the code that they spit out, but sometimes, there’s just nothing we can do.
If you’re [...]

At long last, we’ve released the ability to post private messages and create private todos. (Hey, it took Apple 3 versions of the iPhone OS to do copy and paste!)
If you’d like to post a new message through Mailmanagr and have it marked private, just put ppp before your subject line.

A couple of notes on new developments:
After waiting entirely too long for one company to get their act together on payment processing, we just decided to ditch them and go elsewhere. Within 24 hours, the paid plan was live. All current subscribers received an e-mail outlining the differences between paid and free, and we’re extending [...]
